Dry Grad

About Dry Grad

Dry Grad is a longstanding tradition at DW Poppy Secondary, organized each year for the graduating class by a dedicated parent committee. The purpose of Dry Grad is to provide a fun, inclusive, alcohol- and drug-free celebration for graduating students and their guests immediately following the formal Dinner & Dance.

Dry Grad is organized and run by a parent committee. The Langley School District, DW Poppy administration, and school staff support the committee by helping with communication and providing meeting facilities. They are not involved in planning or making decisions about the Dry Grad event or any related fundraising activities.

Join the Dry Grad Committee

All parents and guardians of graduating students are welcome and encouraged to get involved!

The Dry Grad Committee meets monthly in the school library to discuss and plan the year-end celebration. An event like this takes lots of help, and there are opportunities to volunteer throughout the year and on the night of Dry Grad. Whether you can help a little or a lot, your support is appreciated.

To join the committee, volunteer, or learn more, please contact dwpdrygrad@gmail.com.

Donations & Community Support

Dry Grad relies on fundraising and the generosity of families, businesses, and community supporters. If you, your family, or your business would like to support DW Poppy Dry Grad with a financial contribution, prize, gift card, product, or service donation, please contact the Dry Grad Committee at dwpdrygrad@gmail.com.

Thank you for helping make this a safe and memorable celebration for our grads!
