SUMMER READING
Did your family take part in the summer reading “Build It!” at your local library? Encourage your children to bring in their summer reading logs and they will be displayed on the bulletin board outside the library. Students will also be awarded a small prize if they completed a minimum of 5 weeks of summer reading. Our school wide home reading program will begin October 1st. Get ready for “Buggy For Books”!
HOME READING PROGRAM
LFES Home Reading program starts on October 1st. Calendars will be sent home for our kindergarten and grade 1 students. Students in grades 2 – 5 will have their parents initial on the calendars in the student agendas. There is an instruction page in the agendas that can be found opposite the table of contents for more information. The goal is for students to read 20 minutes a day.
