About Us / School Life
Langley Fundamental Elementary School is a choice program in the Langley School District, enrolling just over 500 students from Kindergarten to Grade Five. Our school’s motto, “Home and School Working Together,” is reflected in the strong partnership between staff, families, and our engaged PAC community. Together, we host a variety of events that build connection and school spirit, including Family Fun Night, Christmas Tea, and Sports Day. Learning at Langley Fundamental is supported by research‑based practices such as our schoolwide WIN Time (“What I Need”), which focuses on strengthening students’ writing skills through targeted instruction and support. We are also committed to embedding the First Peoples Principles of Learning throughout the school, nurturing a sense of belonging, respect, and connectedness. Throughout the year, classes participate in assemblies and learning experiences that align with the BC curriculum and highlight important Canadian cultural events such as the Terry Fox Run, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Canada Day. As a community‑minded school, we strive to celebrate learning, foster relationships, and support the growth and success of every student.
