About the Program
The Langley School District (SD35), in partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), offers a full time four course dual credit Business program. In this program, students take first year Marketing, Business, Accounting and Communication courses. This KPU Surrey Campus program offers SD35 students an opportunity to attend a semester of post-secondary studies while still in high school. Students earn dual credits for both high school and post-secondary courses.
Develop Professional Skills
- Learn how the attributes of individuals and groups affect organizational performance and work environment
- Practice formal and informal presentation skills
- Lean the basics of marketing and explore the relationship between companies, their customers and their competition
- Prepare financial statements using Canadian General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Requirements
- Be registered and currently attending a school in the Langley School District
- Be 18 or younger on June 30 of application year
- Have not graduated from high school before starting the program
- Have intention to graduate
Prerequisites
Have completed before the start of the program
- Grade 11
- C+ or higher in English 12
- C+ or higher in any Math 11
Recommended
- Business course
Could be Applied Towards the Following Degrees
- Bachelor of Business Administration
- Transfer credits to other institutions
