AP Exam Registration and Ordering

AP EXAM REGISTRATION BEGINS OCTOBER 1st

This May, Brookswood Secondary will once again be hosting in person AP Exams to students from other schools and districts.

The cost is $225.00 (Cdn funds) per exam until November 1st, 2026.

After November 1st, 2026 there is an additional $85 late fee. The cost is $310.00 (Cdn funds) per exam and can be ordered up to March 1st, 2027.

LATE REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 12th, 2027

Exam Payment is non-refundable under any circumstances. Students registering for exams must be committed to preparing to write their exams in May.

Please note due to staffing and space limitations we are not able to host exams for students that require separate sittings due to extra time requirements.

STEP 1: Pay your fees

Exam fees can be made online at School Cash Online Starting October 1^st 2026. There are two pages of exams to choose from. At the bottom of the page you can switch between page 1 and page 2. Make sure to pay for the correct exam. (If you have a School Cash Online account with another school, you will need to log out entirely before searching for Brookswood Secondary. If you have trouble with this, it may help to use a different device).

Complete all information accurately with the student’s information. If we cannot find your registration on the College Board website (e.g. different names provided) or cannot contact you based on the information you have provided on this form, you will not be able to write your exam. It is the student’s responsibility to keep up to date with all AP communications, so please ensure the email address is one they check regularly. Please check junk folders carefully for possible AP communications and join codes.

STEP 2: Create a College Board Account

Create an account on the College Board website ( https://myap.collegeboard.org/login ) USING YOUR LEGAL FIRST AND LAST NAME as it appears on your identification and is the same as what you have used to purchase your exam.

STEP 3: Use the JOIN CODE(S) provided by email to register for each specific exam

When you receive your exam JOIN CODES (up to 20 business days following payment), sign in to the College Board website right away (https://myap.collegeboard.org/login) and use the join codes to register for each SPECIFIC EXAM you have purchased.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT MAY TAKE UP TO 20 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS YOUR PAYMENT AND SEND YOU THE JOIN CODES. REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED BETWEEN DECEMBER 17th AND JANUARY 5TH AS WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE SCHOOL BREAK.

STEP 4: Write your exam

NOTE: Students will not receive a reminder email about your exam date. it is the student’s responsibility to be at Brookswood Secondary, located at 20902 – 37A Avenue, Langley, BC, at least 15 minutes before your exam time. Please note that if you do not arrive early, you may not be allowed to enter the exam room.

Please bring a piece of government issued photo ID to the exam (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport, Certificate of Canadian citizenship, or Permanent Resident Card). IF YOU DO NOT BRING THIS TO THE EXAM, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WRITE IT. Review the guidelines for “what to bring on exam day” at myap.collegeboard.org

Please note that this year exams will be partially or fully digital. Students are responsible for bringing their own laptop (Windows or Mac, (no Chromebooks will be allowed). See the AP Website for details on what you need to write a digital exam.
