Bus Rider Information
My Ride K-12 App, Bus Stops, and Schedules
Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, the Langley School District’s Transportation Service will be using the My Ride K-12 (app or website) to share up-to-date bus rider information with parents/guardians and students. The application allows parents/guardians and students to view assigned bus stops and pick-up/drop-off times, and receive notifications about bus delays or route changes. Parents/guardians are able to have more than one rider linked to their account (e.g. siblings attending different schools).
Parents/guardians and students will be expected to use the app or website to check their child’s bus stop and pick-up/drop-off time. Please note, the Transportation Department will not be emailing bus rider information to individual families and students prior to the start of the school year or during the school year. Emergency information or urgent communications will be shared on the My Ride K-12 app or website through its push notifications system. The Transportation Department will continue to use existing methods of communications such as phone calls and emails when needed.
This application aims to increase efficiency in the District’s transportation system, improve communications to families and students, as well as enhance safety and security of riders.
Who can get a My Ride K-12 account?
Each rider can have a primary user (parent or guardian) create an account. Once a primary user’s account has been created, the primary user can link their account to the rider. The primary user is also able to link other accounts to the rider (e.g. student or second parent/guardian). No other individuals can link their account to a rider. To comply with safety, security, and privacy procedures, Transportation Department staff have the ability to manually link or unlink other accounts to a rider.
