EDSS Pre-IB Honours Program

The EDSS Pre-IB and Honours Programs for students in Grades 9 and 10, are an academic program that is designed to prepare students for the challenges of the the Advanced Placement Program at Emery Dosdall Secondary or the IB Diploma Programme at RE Mountain Secondary. While the curriculum for Pre-IB 9 and 10 is the same as the BC Ministry curriculum, there is an additional focus on subject knowledge and skills required for success in Advanced Placement and IB. It is highly advised that students who would like to pursue courses in Advanced Placement, or the IB Diploma program in Grade 11 and 12 apply for the Pre-IB program. Admission to the EDSS Pre-IB Honours Program is open to all students.

There will be information sessions in January, 2027, to share more details about this exciting educational opportunities.
