EDSS Parent Advisory Council
As we look forward to the opening of EDSS, we invite parents, guardians, and caregivers to become part of the school's very first Parent Advisory Council (PAC). This is a unique opportunity to help establish a positive and supportive school culture from the very beginning and contribute to the success of future generations of students.
The PAC serves as a vital link between families and the school, providing a forum for parents to share ideas, support school initiatives, and enhance opportunities for students. Working collaboratively with school administration and staff, the PAC helps foster a strong sense of community and promotes student well-being, engagement, and achievement.
Becoming a member of the founding PAC offers many benefits, including:
- Having a voice in helping shape the culture and traditions of a brand-new school.
- Building relationships with other families and community members.
- Supporting programs, activities, and resources that enrich the student experience.
- Helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students and families.
- Gaining insight into school initiatives and educational opportunities.
- Making a meaningful contribution to the development of EDSS from its earliest stages.
Whether you have experience with PACs or are participating for the first time, your ideas, perspectives, and involvement are valued. Together, we can help build a strong foundation for EDSS and create a school community where students can thrive.
Interested in joining? Stay tuned for upcoming information about the inaugural PAC meeting and opportunities to become a founding member of the EDSS Parent Advisory Council.
