Facilities, Maintenance, and Transportation
The Facilities, Maintenance and Transportation Department plays a vital role in supporting safe, efficient and welcoming learning environments across the Langley School District. Through custodial services, the department ensures schools and district facilities are clean and comfortable for students, staff and visitors. Maintenance Services oversees the operation, repair and upkeep of buildings and grounds, including preventative maintenance, landscaping, renovations and infrastructure improvements, while managing routine service requests. The department also provides guidance on school-initiated equipment and facility upgrades to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Transportation Services supports the movement of students and goods throughout the District, including student bus services, field trip transportation, internal mail delivery and the transfer of furniture, equipment and other materials between schools and facilities.
