As we reach the end of another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the amazing journey we’ve shared and express our heartfelt gratitude to every member of our wonderful community. Their hard work in the classroom, on the playground, and during various school activities has been nothing short of inspiring. From mastering new skills to forming lasting friendships, every student has made tremendous strides. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

This school year has been filled with memorable moments and exciting events. A special shoutout to our amazing PAC (Parent Advisory Council) for their hard work and dedication in organizing fantastic activities and events for our students. Highlights include:

• Welcome Back BBQ & Fun Fair: Added even more excitement to our annual Welcome Back BBQ with bouncy castles, games, and fun entertainment for families to enjoy together.
• Hot Lunch: Continued to provide students with hot lunches that they eagerly looked forward to, offering a fun break from their regular routines while supporting PAC fundraising.
• New School Sports Jerseys: Purchased new sports jerseys for our school teams, helping our student-athletes represent Douglas Park with pride.
• Beach Day: Continued our annual school tradition by funding transportation and providing lunch so all students could enjoy a memorable day at the beach.
• Sports Day Colour Run: Sponsored one of our students' favourite events by purchasing the supplies needed to make the Colour Run a fun and exciting end-of-year celebration. 

Looking Ahead

As we say goodbye to this school year, we look forward to the adventures and opportunities that await us after the summer break. We hope everyone has a relaxing, enjoyable, and safe summer filled with joy and new experiences. Families can expect to receive a “Welcome Back to School” email in mid-August that will outline the return to school, including the schedule for our first week back at Douglas Park.
