PAC Information

Welcome to the James Kennedy Elementary PAC!

The James Kennedy Elementary Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is committed to promoting the education and welfare of James Kennedy students. We do this by organizing school-wide activities, fundraising, providing leadership, and communicating with School District staff.

Every parent at James Kennedy is a PAC Parent. All parents are encouraged to attend PAC meetings to meet other parents and to share thoughts, concerns, energy and talents. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.

Fundraising

To support many of the JKE PAC initiatives, we raise funds through organizing fundraising events. All money raised at events and sales hosted by the PAC will support an approved budget that is voted on by parents.

Fundraising opportunities include:

  • Hot lunches
  • Spooktacular
  • Christmas Market
  • Treat days
  • and many more

We encourage families to participate in fundraising sales and attend events as they are able.

Participation in sales is always optional, and we are grateful for your support.

Use of Fundraising Proceeds

Funds raised by the PAC go toward initiatives such as:

Supporting teachers in buying supplies for each classroom, and supplies for the ELL and resource rooms

  • Contributing to projects to support and beautify our school such as playground equipment
  • Helping pay for bus trips to offsite experiences for the children, as well as class and school presentations
  • Assisting the Library and Music Department pay for new items and repairs
  • Buying outdoor equipment for kids to get healthy exercise outside
  • Funding scholarships for past graduates of JKE
