Welcome to Coghlan Fundamental Elementary!
At Coghlan, our motto is "A Place of Learning, A Place of Belonging." As a learning community, we are committed to supporting the well-being of every student and making their social, emotional, and academic growth our collective mission. Parents, staff, and students work together each day to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Students at Coghlan Fundamental Elementary enjoy a rich and engaging learning experience enhanced by a wide range of educational and extracurricular opportunities. Our dedicated staff are passionate about teaching and continually strive to make our school a warm, welcoming place where every child feels a sense of belonging. At the same time, we maintain high expectations for student learning, responsibility, and behaviour.
Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) plays a vital role in supporting our school community through fundraising initiatives and volunteer contributions. Parent and guardian support helps enrich many aspects of student life, including technology, library resources, swimming programs, fine arts performances, sports teams, dance instruction, and Fun Food Days, among many other opportunities. The PAC meets once each month, and we encourage all families to get involved. Participation is a wonderful way to connect with other parents, contribute to the school community, and learn more about your child's educational experience.
