The District is pleased to announce the beginning of our programming at the new Welcome Centre, located at Donna Gabriel Robins Elementary. The Welcome Centre will provide interactive, informative sessions for families and their young children aged from birth to four years and will support families in celebrating their child’s development. It is a safe and welcoming space that is reflective of Indigenous culture and values, highlighting the First Nations principle that every child is a gift.

Currently, we have two programs running, and will continue to add new programs throughout the school year. These programs are available to all families in Langley at no cost. Pre-registration is required. COVID-19 health and safety guidelines for early learning settings are in place.

  • Story Time - Mondays

Join Sam Collie for an interactive caregiver participation group story time complete with rhymes, books and felt stories. Children birth to 5 years are welcome. The program is hosted in 5 or 6 week sessions. Currently, we are limiting our sessions to a maximum of 20 visitors in the centre. Please email scollie@sd35.bc.ca to register.
