The District is pleased to offer programming at the Welcome Centre, located at Donna Gabriel Robins Elementary. The Welcome Centre provides interactive, informative sessions for families and their young children aged from birth to four years and will support families in celebrating their child’s development. It is a safe and welcoming space that is reflective of Indigenous culture and values, highlighting the First Nations principle that every child is a gift.

    Join us in the Welcome Centre at Donna Gabriel Robins Elementary School each Monday afternoon from 12:30-2:00pm for play-based, child-friendly learning inquiries.  Each week children birth to 5 years of age will explore a new theme with engaging provocations that support imagination and creativity. 

    Ideas shared are easily transferred to the home and provide new ways to engage as a family. 

    Each session includes snack, story time and a take-away to extend the learning beyond the session.
