SELECTION PROCESS
APPLICATION REVIEW
We carefully assess all submitted applications to match qualifications and experience with the role.
SHORTLISTING
Candidates who best meet the requirements are shortlisted and will proceed to the next steps.
INTERVIEW CONTACT

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK
TEACHING POSITIONS:
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) is a condition of employment for:
- All new employees
- Teachers returning to active status after an absence of 90 days or more
- This requirement exists to support the health, safety, and well-being of students.
Important: Only candidates selected for further consideration will be asked to complete a Criminal Record Check.
If you have a Criminal Record Check completed within the last 6 months, you may upload and submit it during your application.
SUPPORT STAFF:
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) is a condition of employment for all support positions.
As a condition of employment, all new hires must complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP), as mandated by the BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.
You may refer to the BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General website for more information.
Important: We do not accept Criminal Record Checks from local RCMP or police detachments. All checks must be processed through CRRP. If you already have a valid CRC completed within the past 6 months, you may upload and submit it during your application.
