Students prepare for their future with Grad Transition Interviews

April 14, 2017

Grad transition interviews were underway at Brookswood Secondary and Walnut Grove Secondary last week. Students came dressed in formal wear for the occasion. Each student came prepared with a presentation of their plans and goals are beyond high-school.

Interviews were conducted by school and district staff, including teachers and school trustees.

The program, stated by the BC Curriculum, encourages students to “take ownership of their health and learning” and “create a plan for their growth and development…”.

Students are asked to bring something their proud of or something to show off. They detailed their passions with presentations of sports equipment, art portfolios, and electronics and PowerPoint slides.
