Langley Secondary Grad Walk 2016
June 9, 2016
The graduating students of Langley Secondary boarded buses just after noon Thursday to begin an inspirational and proud journey down memory lane and you can see the video below. Graduating Saints visit the halls of HD Stafford as the middle school students lined the halls, cheered and high-fived the LSS grads as loud music played over the school PA system. In an event designed to celebrate the graduates of Langley City schools and to inspire the students currently in middle school, it was a smashing success. After their heroic march through the halls in their caps and gowns the Saints boarded 6 district bussed to visit their former elementary schools to once again be greeted by cheers of encouragement and even more high-fives. Students that had completed their elementary years at the Stafford and LSS feeder schools of James Hill, Uplands, Nicomekl, Douglas Park, Blacklock and Simonds all visited their former elementary school and took the opportunity to soak up the cheers of the youngsters and the occasional hug from former teachers or siblings. All in all, a successful event that proved to be as inspirational for those witnessing it as it was a proud moment for those graduating.
