Superintendent’s Report – District Transitions Goal
Assistant Superintendents Woody Bradford and Mal Gill, along with Director of Instruction, Dawne Tomlinson presented on District Transition Goals, these are objectives to help students prepare themselves for their journey after secondary school. Bradford opened with the District’s target goal of increasing Langley’s six-year dogwood (including Evergreen) completion rate to 93% (in this case completion rate means graduation rate). He recognized that completion is important but another goal is to develop educated citizens.
