SECONDARY GRADES (Gr. 8 to 12) APPLICATION

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS?

Step One: Application Form – Complete the online application. The date this application form is received determines the student’s place on the wait list. Vacancies are filled in the following order:

  1. Langley residents with siblings in the school
  2. Langley residents
  3. Non-Langley residents with siblings in the school
  4. Non-Langley residents

Step Two: Audition – When space is available in our Secondary Grades one of the administrative assistants at the school will email/call to arrange a time for your audition. We start auditions in March of each school year.  Audition requirements will be sent to the applicant at the time of the invite.

Step Three: Interview – After a successful audition, families will be notified by email to book an interview.  Parents and students are encouraged to ask questions in order, to learn about all aspect of the Langley Fine Arts School. School staff will present information about the organization of the program, the expectations of students/families, and the content of the program. We will discuss each student’s needs and interests so that parents can make a well-informed decision as to whether or not Langley Fine Arts School is the best choice for their child and family.
