Observing the activities and talents of those at the event, she concludes that disabilities 'are not always horrible misfortunate things' and that we can learn a lot from those who face physical and mental challenges in their lives. Senior Students at Langley Fundamental Middle-Secondary School held their Lights Out fashion show, which raised funds for their graduation committee and for charity. As well as taking to the runway, the students performed live music and participated in prize draws. See full item...

 Grade 2 and 3 students from Langley Fine Arts School delighted School Board Office staff Dec. 10 with a selection of Christmas carols and solo performances. See video of LFAS Choir...

Students from Mrs. La Rose’s grade 5 class at Wix Brown Elementary School in South Langley raised funds and supplies to help dogs and cats at a local animal shelter. Students at the school were also fund-raising for the Langley Food Bank and were supplying a local family with a Christmas Hamper. See full item...
